A Light in the Darkness

Chaplain Ethan and his associated ministry were instrumental in the rededication of my life to Christ. When I was incarcerated, Ethan and the group of volunteers he helped organize/lead were a light in the darkness. They were an outlet for a troubled mind. And an example of a better life.  The obvious joy and passion for a life in Christ that was on display in the fellowship created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere that helped guide me towards the Truth. Today I'm over eight years sober and my life is infinitely better, living for God, than it ever was when living for myself. And it's in large part because of the work done by Ethan and his ministry that I was able to realize this. I still have the Bible he gifted to me when I was locked up, and I continue to find answers/solace/purpose/truth in its pages to this day.
