Lives changed by the grace of Jesus Christ through the ministry of New Creation Jail Ministry.
The Greatest Gift God Gave Me
Through the jail ministry—and the faithful mentorship of Louann—she encountered Christ, found lifelong guidance, and experienced a transformation she now recognizes as one of God’s greatest gifts in her life.
While incarcerated, the joy-filled witness of Chaplain Ethan and his volunteers led him back to Christ, setting him on a path of truth and sobriety that has transformed his life for more than eight years.
He came into jail knowing about God but not knowing Him, and through Chaplain Ethan’s ministry he encountered Christ, found direction, and experienced the life-changing discipleship that continues to guide him and his family today.
Seven years clean and serving in ministry today, I trace my freedom back to answered prayers and the faithful presence of Chaplain Ethan during my time in the Geauga County Jail.
Time in the Geauga County Jail was once marked by isolation, but through church services and Reformers Unanimous classes, I found spiritual discipline, hope, and transformation under Chaplain Ethan’s guidance.
After years of addiction and brokenness, I met the chaplain during a Bible study at the Geauga County Jail. For the first time, I understood that Jesus died for me.
